White Rice


  • 2 cups of white rice
  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste


  • Rinse the rice and drain the water.
  • In a cauldron, add water, oil and salt.

  • Wait for the water to boil.
  • Add the rice.
  • Cook over high heat until the water evaporates.

  • Lower to medium heat, stir, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Stir the rice and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve.
