
Ingredients:
- 4 lb eye of round beef
- 8 oz bacon
- 1 green pepper
- 1 white onion
- 8 basil leaves
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tsp garlic paste
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Pepper to taste
Directions
- Poke the meat everywhere

- Make small superficial cuts where the fat of the meat is

- With a very sharp knife, make a hole in the center of the meat

- Fill with the bacon

- Blend the tomato, pepper, onion, basil, tomato sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.

- In a large bowl, add the meat and pour the previously prepared mixture
- Marinate for 2 hours
- In a cauldron, melt the butter
- Add the sugar and stir
- Seal the meat on each side

- Add the mixture that was used to marinate the meat
- Cook in medium for 2 hours, turning every 30 minutes
- Cut into slices and serve with the sauce left in the cauldron
