• 5 lb pork belly
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil


Chop the pork into medium squares. In a bowl, add the white vinegar, soy sauce and salt to taste. Mix. Place the pork in a pot, and place on the stove for 20 minutes. Cover and stew on high; when boiling, lower the temperature to medium. In a cauldron, heat the oil. Add the pork and fry in the middle until they start to float. Take out of the oil when golden and crisp. Serve with white hominy corn rolls and green plantain chips.
